Aliens Among Us<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about how\u00a0as soon as the Apollo 11 footage hit the airwaves, people began making claims that the footage was somehow faked and that the moon landings were a hoax altogether. A 1979 book, <\/span>We Never Went to the Moon: America\u2019s Thirty Billion Dollar Swindle<\/span><\/i>, was one of the first sources to push these hoax claims into popular culture. Very soon<\/span>\u00a0a German team of citizen scientists has a plan to return to the original Apollo 11 site to put these hoax claims to rest once and for all.\u00a0<\/span>The German team, called the \u201cPart Time Scientists,\u201d have partnered with Audi to send a robotic lunar rover within 200 meters (656 feet) of the Apollo 11 Lunar Roving Vehicle. Their plan is part of the team\u2019s entry into the <\/span>Google Lunar X Prize<\/span><\/a>, a competition which pits teams of scientists and engineers against one another in a race to develop low-cost robots capable of exploring objects in space such as the moon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then,\u00a0Virgin Galactic’s\u00a0second SpaceShipTwo\u00a0performed its first free\u00a0flight<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Dec. 3, a glide test that begins the next phase in testing of the commercial suborbital spaceplane.\u00a0SpaceShipTwo, named VSS Unity, and its carrier\u00a0aircraft<\/span><\/span>, WhiteKnightTwo,\u00a0took off from the Mojave Air and Space Port\u00a0in California at about 9:50 a.m. EST (1450 GMT). The spaceplane separated from WhiteKnightTwo at 10:40 a.m. EST (1540 GMT), gliding back to a runway landing in Mojave 10 minutes later, according to updates provided by the company.\u00a0The glide flight, which Virgin Galactic declared a success, begins the next phase in testing of the long-delayed suborbital vehicle that is ultimately designed to carry space tourists and research payloads to an altitude of about 62 miles (100 kilometers), exposing them to several minutes of microgravity.<\/p>\n

Then, \u00a0sixteen years ago<\/span>, road workers detonated a controlled explosive to remove a large limestone boulder blocking a planned roadway outside of Tel Aviv in Israel. Soon after the dust settled, it became clear that the road would need to be rerouted.\u00a0<\/span>The workers had stumbled upon a vast cave, one that had been sealed off for more than 200,000 years! For the researchers who soon began exploring the cave’s expansive interior, it was the find of a lifetime.\u00a0<\/span>Now called Qesem Cave, the site has delivered a number of discoveries that live up to its explosive origin. Archaeologists <\/span>f<\/span>ound<\/span> a 300,000-year-old fireplace, along with tortoise shells that <\/span>showed<\/span> signs of burning. Apparently, whoever live there had a taste for roast tortoise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then,\u00a0A Washington state resident believes he was able to capture an unusual intrusion in his home.\u00a0The anonymous man claims he was video chatting with a friend on Saturday night when the camera captured the alien-looking figure.
