Dark Waters<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about how\u00a0a report from April 1968 \u2013 part of the\u00a0930,000 declassified documents\u00a0recently posted online by the Central Intelligence Agency \u2013 details six sightings of unidentified flying objects over Ladakh, Sikkim (then a protectorate of India), Bhutan and Nepal in preceding months.\u00a0Though the US security establishment has largely debunked the issue of UFOs in recent years, the CIA and the US Air Force took reports of flying saucers in the 1950s and 1960s so seriously that the spy agency\u2019s Office of Scientific Intelligence formed a scientific advisory panel to study the phenomenon.\u00a0The\u00a0CIA report, originally not meant to be shared with foreigners, contains \u201cparticulars of bright objects seen over south Ladakh, north east Nepal, north Sikkim and western Bhutan\u201d.<\/p>\n

Then,\u00a0the\u00a0cost<\/span><\/span>\u00a0of electricity produced by offshore wind turbines has fallen by a third in just four years, according to a new report.\u00a0The analysis, by Dong Energy and other firms, found that the average\u00a0cost<\/span><\/span>\u00a0during 2015\/16 was \u00a397 per megawatt hour (mwh),\u00a0according to the\u00a0Financial Times<\/em>.\u00a0In 2012, the industry was asked by the UK Government to reduce prices to \u00a3100 per mwh within eight years, but the target has been reached in about half that time.\u00a0Then, Linda Godfrey recently posted an interesting upright canine sighting that took place in a small town in North Dakota. \u00a0Then, Lon Strickler of Phantoms and Monsters recently posted a strange sighting of a possible time traveler at a party!<\/p>\n
