The Sandown Clown<\/a><\/h3>\n

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about the desk-workstation that Cam built for the show and how they boys hope to do a live broadcast soon. Then, they get into some recent sightings and the mystery of the Sandown Clown!<\/p>\n

The Sandown Clown\u00a0<\/b>was a strange being encountered by two young children vacationing at Lake Common, Sandown, Isle of Wight (UK) in May of 1973. Following a sound like an ambulance siren, the children wandered across a footbridge over a stream, and met a curious,\u00a0unidentifiable being that has been described as “a cross between a clown, a robot, and an alien”.<\/p>\n

Despite standing\u00a0over\u00a02 meters in height, the Sandown Clown had more or less normal human proportions: two arms, two legs, and a round head with identifiable facial features. The similarities to a normal human end there, however: the being’s head was described as being too\u00a0large for its otherwise thin frame, and shaped like a nearly perfect sphere. Its skin was very white, and had the consistency of paper, while its hands and feet possessed only three digits each, and its face seemed to have been crudely painted onto the surface of its head: two blue triangles seemingly represented eyes, while a flat brown rectangle served for a nose, and its mouth had thin yellow lips shaped like an oval, which\u00a0did not move at all when it spoke or ate. Its hair hung down beneath its hat in sparse, frizzled, reddish-brown strands, and two wooden antennae stuck out from the sides of its head, while more wooden slat-like antennae extended\u00a0from its wrists and ankles.<\/p>\n

It was a shy, but\u00a0friendly being, and spoke kindly to the children for almost half an hour before they returned to their parents. It seemingly vanished after the encounter, and has never been seen again. \u00a0All of this and more on this installment of Expanded Perspectives Elite!<\/em><\/p>\n
