Search for the Lost City of Z<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the boys talk about Josh Spence, a boxer who is also a rapper that goes by the name of Dante Ray<\/em> that spotted a “Bigfoot” in Arkansas and then they talk about the recent Mummy found in Indiana that may be between 500 – 2,000 years old. Then after the break they discuss Col. Percy Fawcett and his search for The Lost City of Z<\/strong> in South America. The\u00a0Lost City of Z<\/strong> is the name given by Col. Percy Fawcett, a British\u00a0surveyor, to a city that he thought existed in the jungle of the Mato Grosso region of Brazil.\u00a0This mysterious city is referenced in a document known as Manuscript 512, housed at the National Library of Rio de Janeiro\u00a0by Portuguese bandeirante Joao da Silva Guimaraes who wrote that he’d visited the city in 1753. The city is described in great detail without providing a specific location. Fawcett allegedly heard about this city in the early 1900s and went to Rio de Janeiro to learn more, and came across the earlier report. He was about to go in search of the city when World War I\u00a0intervened. In 1925, Fawcett, his son Jack, and Raleigh Rimell disappeared in the Mato Grosso while searching for Z.<\/p>\n
