The Homunculus<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

On this extremely disturbing episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start off the show by talking about\u00a0the Flyboard Air hoverboard invented by Franky Zapata and <\/span>unveiled<\/span> in a limited demonstration video a few weeks ago and it set a world record by flying for over 2.2 kilometers (1.4 miles) in front of scores of witnesses. <\/span>Franky Zapata\u2019s record-breaking <\/span>demonstration<\/span> took place on April 30th off the coast of Sausset-le-Pins in southern France. Then,\u00a0<\/span>the Burning Tree mastodon, discovered in 1989 on a Licking County golf course, is known internationally for being the most complete American mastodon skeleton ever found.\u00a0The mastodon also had spear marks in its ribs, proving a theory about how Paleo-Indian tribes that hunted across Ohio and the rest of North America fed themselves. Then, a\u00a0<\/span>biotech company<\/span> in the US has been granted ethical permission to recruit 20 patients who have been declared clinically dead from a traumatic brain injury, to test whether parts of their central nervous system can be brought back to life. Then, it\u2019s an oft-reported, can-you-even-believe-it fact that many people in Iceland still believe in the\u00a0possible existence of elves. This myth from the country\u2019s folk traditions has persisted, and the niggling suspicion that the\u00a0Good Folk\u00a0may still be out there among the rocks has even led to Icelandic road and housing plans being altered to avoid sites associated with them.
