On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show talking about how\u00a0Uber announced that it would begin testing a fleet of 100 self-driving cars for hire in Pittsburgh by the end of the month. Then, a<\/span>\u00a0team of six people have completed a Mars simulation in Hawaii, where they lived in near isolation for a year.\u00a0Since 29 August 2015, the group lived in close quarters in a dome, without fresh air, fresh food or privacy.\u00a0Experts estimate that a human mission to the Red Planet could take between one and three years.\u00a0The Nasa-funded study run by the University of Hawaii is the longest of its kind since\u00a0a Russian mission that lasted 520 days.<\/p>\n

Then, the largest stone building block ever carved by human hands has been found by German archeologists. The stone, which could be more than 2,000 years old, was found in a quarry in Baalbek, Lebanon. It was most likely carved by Romans of Heliopolis, the ancient city that contained “one of the grandest sanctuaries in the empire.” Then, an Ohio resident on Sunday said he saw a humanoid-looking creature in Allen County.
