Coincidences of the Erdington Murders<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off by talking about an unprecedented new surgery, in which researchers implanted wireless devices in the patients\u2019 brains that recorded their brain activity. The technology allowed the brain to communicate with the legs\u2014by passing the broken spinal cord pathways\u2014so that the patient could once again regain control. Then, Airbus has joined the chorus of tech titans\u00a0calling for flying cars\u00a0with Project Vahana, an autonomous Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicle. Since they don\u2019t need a runway to take-off, VTOLs are more like helicopters than flying cars \u2014 but they can work as taxis all the same. Project Vahana director Zach Lovering says the Airbus VTOL will be a single passenger all-electric aircraft that\u2019ll be ready for production a short four years away in 2020.<\/p>\n

Then, During the 1600s, Puritans in New England spotted more than just witches flying through the skies. Hundreds of years before Area 51 and Project Blue Book, Massachusetts Bay Colony founder John Winthrop detailed instances of unidentified flying objects in the heavens above seventeenth-century Boston in the first recorded UFO sightings in America.\u00a0Then, Cam brings up an interesting story of a woman who came upon an out of place time traveler from another dimension. Not only did the young woman look like she was from an earlier time, but she was very small in stature.<\/p>\n

After the break Cam brings up the eerie coincidences of the Erdington Murders. Erdington is a quaint suburb of Birmingham, England that dates back to the 9th<\/span><\/sup> century. The old English community has undoubtedly seen its share of history, evolving from a rural village to a popular midway point for those traveling between Chester and London in the 18th and 19th centuries. Yet there\u2019s a dark chapter to Erdington\u2019s history that continues to haunt its residents\u2014the unsolved murders of two young women with details too similar to ignore, right down to the date of their grisly deaths. But the creepiest part? The similar incidents happened 157 years apart.<\/p>\n
