I was listening to the interesting story of the ancient weapon found in Missouri and had to comment that, while mudras certainly are dancing hand positions in India, they are also hand positions used in meditation and are believed to channel the prana through the nadis in specific ways (somewhat similar to the concepts in Chinese traditional medicine where the internal energy of the body, chi, flows through the body in a series of meridians) . . . . something else to deepen the mystery a little.
