The Murder Castle
On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about their new bow and arrows they recently purchased, the art of archery and getting into shooting. Then, once the stuff of science fiction, exoskeletons are slowly working their way into real life. These aids are now being used on manufacturing assembly lines. Ford has started trialling an exoskeleton that supports assembly line workers to lift their arms above their heads. While perhaps not as glamorous as suits that help people walk or lift inhuman weights, the EksoVest – which provides its wearer with 5-15lbs of lift assistance per arm – has the potential prevent injuries and improve the quality of life for workers. Then, a man calls into Coast to Coast to tell a fantastic story of a shadow being he encountered one night while out walking his dog.
Then, Cam brings up not one, but two more accounts of people seeing strange Predator like beings in the tree canopy as well as in some bushes in Washington state. After the break Cam brings up the Murder Castle! If ever a house was haunted, that one on Chicago’s South Side should have been. To this day, fifty years later, nobody knows precisely how many persons were murdered in it. Estimates range from twenty to a couple of hundred. Most, if not all, were women. It is believed that they were chloroformed, gassed, strangled, or perhaps beaten to death. Their bodies were destroyed in cellar pits containing quicklime and acids. Some of their skeletons were sold by their efficient murderer, who was determined to realize every penny of profit from his crimes. All of this and more on this weeks episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite!
