Bizarre Encounters during World War II
On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys talk about a team made up of researchers from the International Potato Centre (CIP) and NASA who are attempting to grow potatoes in Mars-like conditions. The initiative has two main aims: one, to test if it’s actually possible to grow food on the surface of the Red Planet once we finally get there. Two, to develop methods for growing potatoes here on Earth in very inhospitable conditions – if that particular magic formula can be cracked, it has the potential to save millions of lives on our own planet. Then, a person has an unusual sighting of a phantom airliner in Florida. Next, U.S. actor Nicolas Cage has agreed to turn over a dinosaur skull he purchased for $276,000, after it turned out to be smuggled from Mongolia. Then, an enormous amount of harmful methane gas is currently erupting from an energy facility in Aliso Canyon, California, at a startling rate of 110,000 pounds per hour and engineer’s don’t seem to have any way to stop it. After the break Kyle brings up some unusual encounters that took place during World War II. Like Pérák, the spring man of Czechoslovakia, the Horned Demon Cat of London and of course the Gremlins that terrorized British RAF pilots. All of this on Expanded Perspectives Elite!!
