A Ripple in Time

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys get the show off talking about the Texas heat and Kyle’s failures at becoming a great traditional archer. Then, Cam almost dies from a near heat stroke he had over the last couple of days. Next, a listener from Poland writes into the show with a crazy encounter their grandfather had with a horse headed humanoid. Then, a man and his dog are in their car late at night in rural Monroe County, Pennsylvania when what appears to be an ordinary deer is anything but that.

After the break, Kyle brings up some strange stories of possible slips in time! Time is seen as a force eternally impenetrable and displays itself as normally past, present and future. Human beings have always seen themselves as controlled by time. They complain there is never quite enough of it, yet time is infinite. So why do certain people witness instances contrary to what we traditionally perceive as time? The so-called time slip phenomenon has been defined as an event where a moment from the past spontaneously intrudes on the present through seemly unexplained means. Involving one person or even a group of people, many of those who claim to have experienced time slips say they merely observed a past scene, lasting only a few minutes. Others allege that they have been fully immersed in the scene visited. It is also reported that the surroundings witnessed are still, under lit, out-of-place, with a muffled or unfamiliar sound. So what are they? What is time?

Double Walker

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite, the guys talk about Doppelgangers. You’ve almost definitely heard of the term “doppelgänger.” Today, it’s often used in a very casual way, to mean someone who looks like someone else. Maybe you’ve heard someone say something like, “I saw your doppelgänger today. They looked just like you, it was almost creepy!” While this definition is correct, the term has a long other story behind it that gives a whole new meaning to the word “creepy.” There are lots of spooky doppelgänger myths out there that are going to make you hope you never meet anyone who looks like you.

Doppelgänger is a German word that means “double-walker.” According to ancient legend, a doppelgänger isn’t just someone who resembles you, or a twin with their own identity — it is a literal duplicate of you. Many mystics believe that doppelgängers are supernatural creatures, and their appearance in someone’s life is almost never a good thing.

Even creepier? There are real accounts of people seeing their doppelgängers, and things almost never end well for them. There are countless ancient myths and legends, and even more modern accounts. All of this and more on this installment of Expanded Perspectives Elite!

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about Cam’s amazing looking beard. Then, they discuss the art of prepping, from weapons to types of food. After all of the small talk they start the news off with a strange sighing that took place near Mount Vernon, Ohio. The person apparently had a run-in with an Alien Humanoid that sounded like a Velociraptor. The witness claims they felt like they were being followed their entire hike and they got a little lost on the way since they were feeling super sketched out. When they finally saw it they started panicking and were super scared.

Then, 25 years ago a person had a strange encounter with a being that closely resembled the famous Grinning Man. The man and his wife both witnessed the strange entity one day while driving near the town of Torrington, Connecticut. After the break, Kyle brings up the interesting conspiracy theory surrounding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) is one of the most famous Presidents of the United States. Volumes are devoted to his life and death. However, historians have yet to unravel the mysteries surrounding his assassination. Was Booth acting alone? Or were there others behind the scenes? Mysteries Surrounding the Manson Murders

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite, the guys start the show off talking about fireworks and the 4th of July in Texas. Then they get into the news talking about how a person back on June 30th 2018 near Pevely, Missouri had a very strange encounter with orbs in the woods followed by something growling in the woods. Was it Sasquatch? Was it Dogman or something else. Then, In case anyone wanted to know why Neanderthals went extinct, know that scientists at University of California, San Diego are working on finding the answer. By growing Neanderthal brains in petri dishes, which will later be placed inside crab-like robots, scientists believe that by studying the robot’s behavior, they’ll gain a new understanding of why the Neanderthals were wiped from the surface of the Earth.

After the break, Cam brings up some very odd mysteries surrounding the Manson Family. The Manson Family committed one of the most reviled crimes in modern American history: the Tate LaBianca Murders, which brutally ended the life of actress Sharon Tate (wife of director Roman Polanski) when she was eight and a half months pregnant, along with four of her friends and her gardener’s son. The next day, married couple Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were murdered by the Manson Family in equally brutal fashion, this time with Charles Manson himself helping commit the crime. The cult had hoped to frame a black man for the killings to spark race riots in Los Angeles, which they believed would usher in the apocalypse. While the facts in this case are well-documented, the Manson Family lies at the center of many other mysteries, as well, including several similar but unsolved murders. Other stories about the Manson Family have circulated for years, including several conspiracy theories that make them agents of the CIA or members of a secret Satanist network (or both!).

Now, after sitting at the bottom of the ocean for 310 years, the San José’s shipwreck has finally been officially identified, thanks to an analysis of the distinctive bronze cannons that sank with the ship.

Then, a person in California saw and odd shaped UFO flying over them one night while driving down a lonely road. Just as the saw the UFO a very large White Owl almost hit their windshield. Is there a connection? Then, breakthroughs in genetic engineering and cloning might enable us to ‘reanimate’ bygone animal species such as the wooly mammoth and the famous Tasmanian tiger, which was officially exterminated in its entirety by sheep ranchers in the XIXth century, for fear that it preyed on their herds. Since last December, a team of scientists from the University of Melbourne were able to sequence the entire genome of the Tasmanian tiger, thanks largely in part because of a highly well-preserved baby specimen.

Then, a man in Norway claims he saw three entities he believes were extraterrestrials.The Risør resident said he was walking in the woods in the middle of the day when he came upon two “small lights” floating in front of him. On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys talk about Graham Hancock’s new book “Magician of the Gods”. Near the end of the last Ice Age 12,800 years ago, a giant comet that had entered the solar system from deep space thousands of years earlier, broke into multiple fragments. Some of these struck the Earth causing a global cataclysm on a scale unseen since the extinction of the dinosaurs. At least eight of the fragments hit the North American ice cap, while further fragments hit the northern European ice cap. The impacts, from comet fragments a mile wide approaching at more than 60,000 miles an hour, generated huge amounts of heat which instantly liquidized millions of square kilometers of ice, destabilizing the Earth’s crust and causing the global Deluge that is remembered in myths all around the world. A second series of impacts, equally devastating, causing further cataclysmic flooding, occurred 11,600 years ago, the exact date that Plato gives for the destruction and submergence of Atlantis.
