In Plane Sight
On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start the show off talking about how Scientists are investigating what makes conch shells and fish scales so tough and designing their own versions. They’re even turning to materials like spider silk and dreaming up new, protective functions for the super-strong goo. In a few years, these new armors could show up in bulletproof vests, protective gloves, sports helmets, and even athletic wear. Then, Manuel Navarette over at the UFO Clearinghouse has another encounter in the Chicago area with a red-eyed winged creature. Apparently the creature terrified a family once again in the area commonly known as the “Little Village”
Then, Polar bears’ fortunes are deeply tied to the whims of a changing climate, and as the Arctic continues to warm it’s increasingly important to keep an eye on their populations. But the Arctic’s stark white terrain can make that a difficult task to accomplish. In the past, helicopters have been used to spot the bears, but those aircraft are both costly and disturbing to the wildlife. However, drones are a low-cost, less invasive alternative. On a recent Arctic mission, drones helped gather data about polar bears that will help researchers get a better idea of how climate change in the region, and around the world, affects wildlife. Then, a witch in the Chicago area believes that she may be responsible for opening some sort of portal to which these bat like creatures are being seen by witnesses.
After the break Kyle brings up some lesser know encounters with what can only be explained as Phantom Plane Crashes. All of this and more on this week episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite!
