Russia’s Roswell the Dalnegorsk Crash

Russia’s Roswell the Dalnegorsk Crash

On this weeks installment of Expanded Perspectives Elite, the guys start the show off talking about how recently bricks have been 3-D printed out of simulated moon dust using concentrated sunlight – proving in principle that future lunar colonists could one day use the same approach to build settlements on the moon. Then, for those who can speak only one language, people who have the ability to speak several are often a source of fascination. What language do they think in? Can they switch mid-way through? Do they dream in one language or both? It turns out these questions are not without merit as people who can speak two languages actually experience time in a different way. A study from Lancaster University and Stockholm University, published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, found that people who are bilingual think about time differently depending on the language context in which they are estimating the duration of events.

Then, a man in southeast Pennsylvania says he saw a creature that resembled a Tasmanian tiger and part hyena. Christopher Connor, a 34-year-old audio engineer and videographer, told Cryptozoology News on Monday that they were driving on 202 N in late April when they came across the unidentified animal. Then, a Georgia witness at Savannah reported watching two large, triangle-shaped objects hovering over the city at 9:45 p.m. on April 25, 2017, according to testimony in Case 83466 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

After the break, Kyle brings up a lesser known story from behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. This event is simply known as Russia’s Roswell Incident. This internationally famous UFO incident took place in 1986, on January 29, at 7:55 p.m. Some have called it the Roswell Incident of the Soviet Union. The information concerning this incident was sent to us by a number of Russian ufologists. Dalnegorsk is a small mining town in the Far East of Russia. That cold January day a reddish sphere flew into this town from the southeastern direction, crossed part of Dalnegorsk, and crashed at the Izvestkovaya Mountain (also known as Height or Hill 611, because of its size). The object flew noiselessly, and parallel to the ground; it was approximately three meters in diameter, of a near-perfect round shape, with no projections or cavities, its colour similar to that of burning stainless steel. One eyewitness, V. Kandakov, said that the speed of the UFO was close to 15 meters per hour. The object slowly ascended and descended, and its glow would heat up every time it rose up. On its approach to Hill 611 the object “jerked”, and fell down like a rock. All this and more on this weeks episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite!
