On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite, the guys start the show off talking about an old public television show they used to watch as kids called “3,2,1 Contact and The Bloodhound Gang”. Then, a chicken embryo with a dinosaur-like snout instead of a beak has been developed by a team of scientists. The team’s aim was to understand how the bird beak evolved, because the beak is such a vital part of bird anatomy. It has been crucial for their success. The 10,000 or more bird species occupy a wide range of habitats, and many have specialised beaks to help them survive.

Then, what would it be like to actually go camping with Bigfoot? A guy and three of his friends found out first hand while out hunting and camping near Cody, Wyoming. After the break Cam brings up the interesting story of Zona Heaster and her tragic demise simply known in lore as “The Greenbrier Ghost”. In early October 1896, 23 year old Zona Heaster met Trout Shue and instantly fell in love with the powerful 35 year old blacksmith. Though her mother vehemently objected, within weeks the two were married. Three months later Zona was dead. Her death was ruled to as accidental but rumors of murder persisted. As far as her mother, Mary Jane Heaster, was concerned the rumors were verified when Zona’s ghost appeared to her four nights in a row and told her of Trout’s cruelty. Mrs. Heaster’s persistent telling of this story prompted authorities to exhume Zona’s body, and find that her neck had been broken. Trout Shue had been accused by the Greenbrier Ghost.
