On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite the guys start out the show talking about New York’s Execution Rocks Lighthouse, is perhaps the most Haunted Lighthouse in America and now if you want you can spend the night there. For history buffs, ghost hunters, or thrill seekers looking for a night of terror, this is probably your best bet. Then, the moon could cause huge earthquakes because of the stress it puts on our planet, according to new research. Scientists have long suspected that the moon might play some part in the major earthquakes that strike across the world and often cause huge amounts of death and destruction. But until now they haven’t been able to prove it, and no connection between our moon’s activity and those quakes has been established. Then, most of you listeners are familiar with the famous Fiji Mermaid which dates back to the 1800s, was exhibited by P.T. Barnum. This always starts an argument on whether its real or not, but regardless it goes on display (without a glass protective case) for one day next month at the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University for its 150th anniversary celebration.
Then, a man in Addison County, Vermont says he captured a video of an “unusual” creature. He thinks the creature is none other than the legendary lake monster nick named “Champ”. If you’re not familiar with “Champ”, it’s the American counterpart to Nessie and Cressie and is said to lurk in Lake Champlain, on the border between Vermont and New York. “Champ,” has allegedly been seen by hundreds of witnesses over the years. Descriptions of Champ vary, but most suggest a creature between 20 and 80 feet long, with a series of distinct humps and a serpentine body. Some say the head looks like a snake or a dog.
